Austin Nature Days

Austin Nature Day, patterned after the highly successful Austin Museum Day, is a new annual event in Austin designed to celebrate the beauty, vitality, and diversity of natural resources that contribute to our high quality of life. Whether one wants to recreate, relax or learn about our environment, over twenty organizations at over fifteen locations in the Greater Austin area have created unique programs and events to make it happen.

Activities at Wild-Connections Butterfly Farm & Nature Center

Admission: Special reduced rate!
$2.00 per person ages 2+
(reduced rate applies to April 12 only.)

Event Description:
Discover the Beauty of Nature's Flying Flowers! Enjoy the spring sunshine and wildflowers while exploring our beautiful butterfly house and hiking trails. A visit to Wild-Connections is an exciting experience for people of all ages! Toddlers to grandparents will delight in feeding the butterflies and exploring nature's wonders in our gardens and along our trails. With scavenger hunts, picnicking, and shopping, it's a day of fun and discovery for the whole family!

Austin Nature Day Activities:
-Feed the butterflies and explore our caterpillar house
-Guided hikes exploring and discovering nature's hidden treasures
(guided hikes are in the morning only)
-Children's butterfly crafts

Kid Friendly: Absolutely!

In case of rain: Activities will be cancelled.
